Quality & finishing
Quality you can see and measure
The value of natural stone is decided in the details: consistent thickness, accurate dimensions and a finish that suits the application.
Our quality approach
The factory's actual inspection and quality-control procedures will be described here once confirmed by the owner.
Surface finishes
Common finishes for marble and granite. Availability depends on the stone and is confirmed per product.
- 01
Polished
A high-gloss, reflective surface that deepens colour and highlights veining.
- 02
Honed
A smooth, matte surface with little or no reflection — understated and practical.
- 03
Brushed
A softly textured surface with a satin feel, produced with abrasive brushes.
- 04
Sandblasted
A uniformly roughened, matte surface often chosen for improved grip.
- 05
Flamed
A rough, textured surface created by heat — mainly used on granite for exterior areas.
- 06
Bush-hammered
A pitted, rustic texture produced mechanically, typical for outdoor paving.
- 07
Leathered
A soft-sheen surface with a subtle, tactile texture.
- 08
Tumbled
Softened edges and an aged, weathered look.
- 09
Sawn
The raw surface left by cutting, before any finishing.
